Songwriters Unite! is a songwriters' collective that has grown to include over 550 musicians from across North America. In 2004, Trevor Mills (of Hugh’s Room’s ‘New Foundation’) handed over the producer’s hat to Russell Leon. 

Songwriters Unite! promotes emerging and professional musicians by encouraging songwriters to create and perform original music and lyrics. We want our musicians to gain exposure, meet new musicians, entertain, and unite a community of hard working, talented artists.  We encourage artists, producers, promoters and venues to contact Songwriters Unite! and use it as the valuable resource that it is.

By uniting artists we hope to positively change the worlds' collective consciousness, thus enabling the planet and those living on it to be healthy, happy forever. We also want to encourage good music that inspires us and makes us feel, think, dance and enjoy life. If you really want to know what’s happening in the world, you can read the paper, but if you really want the truth, listen to the songwriters.

Songwriters Unite! promotes and hosts a monthly show @ Graffiti's, 170 Baldwin Street in Kensington Market in Toronto. Eight songwriters perform four original songs each. As well, Songwriters Unite! participates in showcases, festivals, benefit concerts, and other performance opportunities.  See How it works for more details.
